North Bergen Chief Robert J. Dowd was sworn in as the President of the Hudson County Chiefs of Police Association on December 6th.

Chief Dowd is completing his 23rd year as a North Bergen Police Officer. He holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from NJCU. Chief Dowd was designated an Accredited Chief Executive–Chief of Police–Advanced by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police.
